Yield Monitoring

Yield is what it all comes down to.  All of the management decisions made throughout the year are all made for one reason, to get the most return on the investment.  What good does it do to experiment with different application rates or seed varieties or tillage practices if you can't remember what you did where and how that crop performed.  With either the Integra, EDGE, or InSight you can map the yields or your crops as well as see the results real-time in color in the combine.  The Ag Leader yield monitors provide the most widely-used grain monitoring technology in the world.  The displays allow you to create and view yield and moisture maps while harvesting and instantly observe how field conditions affect yield.  Use this information to the make storage decisions based on moisture.

Ag Leader's yield monitoring systems are compatible with almost every combine made in the United States in the last 25 years.  Ag Leader now offers kits for Case Yield Monitor Ready machines that allows the user to utilize the existing flow sensor and moisture sensor.

Yield and Moisture Mapping Hybrid/Variety Yield Mapping Summary Screen
View yield and moisture maps in color in real-time for instant feedback on yield performance across the field.  Then, take the data to office and print off the maps for future use. Overlay planting maps with real-time harvest maps to view instant yield and moisture variations by hybrid/variety in the field.  This provides better seed selection data for next planting season. The harvest summary screen provides at-a-glance information about number of acres harvested, total and average bushels harvested and more.
How the yield monitoring system works
Grain is fed into the harvester's elevator where sensors read the moisture content of the grain. As the grain is delivered to the holding tank, the mass flow sensor monitors yield. Information on both yield and moisture from the sensors are recorded by EDGE, Integra, or InSight displays mounted in the cab.
