EZ-Boom

The EZ-Boom automated boom switching and spray rate controller system allows you to cut farm input costs immediately in your next field application.  When combined with either the EZ-Guide 500 or EZ-Guide Plus lightbars or the AgGPS FMD or FmX displays, the EZ-Boom becomes the total spray controller for your operation.  Using GPS, up to ten boom sections can be automatically turned on and off based on already applied areas to avoid overspray and untreated gaps on end rows - resulting in the more precise application for all field work and less stress on the operator when navigating point rows, headlands, waterways, and other demanding driving situations.  Now there is no more stressing over turning sections off at the right time or remembering to turn them back on.  The ten boom switches allow you to manually turn boom sections on and off for use without GPS.  

The EZ-Boom system also provides accurate rate control with Rate-1 and Rate-2 settings.  The rate can be adjusted by simply pressing the + / - switch.  The EZ-Boom simply plugs into supported sprayer harnesses making installation simple and clean.  On harnesses that are not supported, complete cabling kits are available for most supported valves and flow meters.

The EZ-Boom 2010 system now also works on planters using Tru Count Air Clutches which helps you save on seed input costs.

The EZ-Boom system provides an economical approach to automatic boom section control by reducing input cost, reducing operator fatigue, and improving overall application accuracy.

Firmware version 1.04

Version 1.04 for the EZ-Boom has been released.  Click the link above to download the firmware.  Save the firmware to your computer.  Once downloaded, you have to unzip the folder before you can transfer the update to a memory stick and update the lightbar.  

 

 

The illustration to the right show how simple the installation is of the EZ-Boom system.  In a lot cases the EZ-Boom is plug and play with existing systems.
